Walter Ackerson Jr. Walter was born in Washington's Kettle Falls. His parents divorced, and he moved in with his mother, Karen Hull. In the late 1980s, they settled in Puyallup, Washington. Walter was tormented at school, which he loathed. Although his test results were above average, he started consuming alcohol and was often absent from school.
